All submissions must abide by the following rules, if you have any questions or clarifications please feel free to contact us with the form at the bottom of this page.

Trailer Rules

• Trailer must be submitted as a link, such as youtube, google drive, etc.

• Trailer must be less than 90 seconds in length. There is some wiggle room but if the length is excessive it will not be considered.

Game Content

• All games must be planned for release with 1 year of this year's Student Game Awards event.

• Cannot be submitted for awards consideration.

• Must be completely original content, violating no copyright laws.

• May not contain any hateful, discriminatory, or bigoted content.

Team

• Majority of members must be (undergrad/grad) students enrolled in an accredited university during development of the game.

• All team members must be over the age of 18.

• Submittee must be a member of the games' development, and must at least inform the rest of the team about the games' submission.

If any of the rules are found to of been broken, your game can be fully removed from the showcase process.
