General Info
Bigger Than A Single Category
The Student Game Awards was founded under the idea of empowering students and giving them a platform not found at any other award shows. Often students are lucky to a "Best Student Game" category at an award show, this does not truly capture the breadth of student games that are made each year. Through this award show, we hope to show the legitimacy of student games and gives students visibility to achieve their dreams.

What's New?
This year we're doing this a bit differently, so here's a quick breakdown of some of the changes.
Categories
You can submit as many games as you want (as long as they fit the submission rules), and then our judges will decide which categories they fit the best. This allows for members of the team who are not submitting to still be recognized.
Update Submissions
We are also allowing you to update your submissions, this hopefully gives students more time to finish up Spring projects and judges more flexibility. There will be a cutoff date on when you can update your game as we need to give the judges some time.
Showcase
If your game is not quite ready for this year's Awards but is coming soon, you can submit your game trailer to be shown off between the awards.
